Natural caffeine
From green coffee bean
Enough to carry a full session, short of the 200mg and 300mg loads that dominate the shelf. We picked the number we would drink every day, not the number that looks impressive on a can.
Typical published amounts. Caffeine content varies by product and preparation.
L-theanine
Paired with the caffeine, not added after
The ratio is the point. Roughly 1.2 parts theanine to 1 part caffeine is the pairing studied for steady focus rather than edge. This is the reason nrve does not read as a stimulant.
Electrolytes
Sodium, magnesium and potassium citrates
We use the citrate forms, which are the versions your body absorbs more easily than the cheap ones most brands reach for. Includes 200mg of magnesium, half a day’s worth, because magnesium is what most training diets run short on.
Reb M & monk fruit
10 calories per can
Reb M is the part of the stevia plant that tastes clean, without the bitter edge stevia is known for. Monk fruit rounds it out. No sucralose, no ace-K, nothing that leaves an aftertaste you have to drink through.
What it tastes like.
Sweet against tart, with a clean hit of Concord underneath. A touch of sourness keeps it from going flat.
Tropical notes that stay smooth but present, finishing crisp rather than syrupy.
No bitter finish. No confusing aftertaste. How it tastes going down is how it tastes after, and you will not need a sip of water halfway through the can.
Formulated and canned in the Midwest.
The decisions nobody prints.
Sucralose
Cheap, stable, and the reason so much of this category tastes like a diet soda. We paid more for Reb M and monk fruit.
Artificial dyes
Color sells on a shelf. It does nothing once it is in you, and we all know how dyes are trending.
Proprietary blends
A blend total hides the individual doses. If a brand will not show you the numbers, assume the numbers are small.
Sugar
0g. Not reduced, not "lightly sweetened." The whole point is fuel that does not sit heavy when it matters most.
Three things to check before you drink it.
- Find the caffeine number. If it is not printed, that is the answer.
- Look for the word "blend." A blend total means the individual doses are hidden.
- Read the sweetener line. Sucralose and ace-K are the two that most often sit behind "zero sugar."
Run this on our can too. That is the point.
Nothing held back.

The FDA cites 400mg of caffeine a day as the general ceiling for healthy adults. At 125mg a can, two cans and a cup of coffee keep you comfortably beneath it.
Not intended for children, or for anyone pregnant, nursing, or sensitive to caffeine. If you have a medical condition or take medication, talk to your doctor before drinking.
Asked and answered.
How many can I drink in a day?
Two comfortably. Technically three still lands under the FDA's 400mg guideline for healthy adults. Two cans and your morning coffee also stays under it, which is how most people will actually use it.
Can I take it with a pre-workout?
Yes, as long as the math works. Add the caffeine in your pre-workout to our 125mg and keep the total under 400mg for the day. If your pre-workout is at or under 275mg, one can alongside it clears that.
Does it break a fast?
Technically, yes. It is 10 calories, which most fasting protocols treat as a non-event, but it is not zero and we are not going to tell you otherwise.
